1.5kviews

The Texas Supreme Court will extend the Texas Eviction Diversion Program thru September.
The program was set up to help families avoid eviction during the pandemic.
It uses money from the federal CARES Act to give Texans facing eviction rental assistance and legal help.
The program will push back evictions for up to 60 days to allow landlords time to receive payment from the state.
Tenants will be able to receive more than a year of help paying rent and utilities.
