Protestors Set Minneapolis Third Precinct On Fire

4.4kviews

The Third Precinct police station in Minneapolis was set on fire Thursday night by violent protestors following the death of George Floyd, a black man who died while in police custody.
The incident took place around 10pm when rioters broke into the precinct after officers tried to break up the crowd by using tear gas and flash bang shots from the rooftops.
Officers that were on the roof had to be picked up by helicopters because once rioters entered the building they sparked it ablaze.
John Elder, the spokesman for the Minneapolis PD said all staff was evacuated from the building before it caught fire.
