A tiger attacked a young lady at a safari park in Chile. She has passed away.
The woman was working at the park, cleaning the area where the tiger is located.
Animals usually wander the area openly as guest navigate in their cars around them. However, they are not kept close when the staff is cleaning or repairing things in the enclosure.
But, somehow, the cage door was not closed. The tiger got out and pounded on the woman. She suffered major neck injuries during the short attack, a park’s spokesperson said.
The park has now been shut down. An investigation will continue to decide if any third-party was also responsible for the incident.
