Search Continues For Woman Who Shot And Killed Church’s Chicken Employee Outside Restaurant

A Church’s chicken employee was fatally shot outside the restaurant Monday night following an argument with a customer.

Around 9 p.m., Memphis police responded to a shooting call on the 2900 block of Park Avenue in Orange Mound.

According to reports a woman with purple hair pulled up in the drive thru when her and the employee got into an argument. It was said the woman then drove off in a teal blue suv and the employee walked outside to get some air. Moments later there was a gunshot heard and you could see the woman in the teal suv driving away on video.

The employee was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.

The suspects vehicle was later found but no arrest have been made.

Memphis police are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact police.
