Track and field star Sha’Carri Richardson has returned to the scene and wants the whole world to know it.

The runner, from the U.S., has beat Jamaican Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah in the women’s 100-meters at the Spitzen Leichtathletik competition in Lucerne, Switzerland. This is a World Athletics Continental Tour silver competition. It is the second level of the tier beneath the elite Diamond League.

Richardson ran 11.29 seconds, defeating the gold medalist by .01 second.

The athlete hasn’t had a competition since June in the U.S. championships. There, she didn’t qualify for the world championships.

When people learned of her new success, they took to social media to express their excitement.

“Sha’Carri gotta whole lotta hate when she was going through her situation and when she loss those races. Now, let’s reverse that and show her the same amount of love for winning,” one person tweeted.
