Shaq’s Daughter, A’mirah, Set To Play Ball For TSU

A’mirah O’Neal, Shaquille O’Neal’s daughter, will be playing basketball for Texas Southern University. She is a former walk-on at LSU where Shaq attended school.

A’mirah, a 6’1 post player, averaged 17.2 points per game in the 2018-2019 season when she was a junior. Additionally, she was a 2019 MaxPreps California All-State Girls Team honorable mention and two-time All-State honoree. Now, she will be coached by hall of famer, Cynthia Cooper Dyke. A’mirah, from LA, will major in Agriculture business with an emphasis in International business.

A’mirah’s younger brother, Shaqir, will also be playing on the men’s team at TSU. He will play under Coach Johnny Jones who was the assistant coach when Shaq was at LSU. Additionally, Shaq’s other son, Shareef, plays for LSU. Their younger sister, Me’Arah, is setting a name for herself as she is already getting division1 offers.
