Shooting At A Dallas Academy Sports And Outdoors Leaves One Dead And Another Critically Wounded

On Saturday afternoon, one person was discovered deceased and another person was critically wounded outside of an Academy Sports+ Outdoors store.
The shooting that took place at the store, in northeast Dallas, happened in the 6300 block of Northwest Highway. Yellow crime tape was set up in the location of the parking lot where things transpired.
According to authorities, a man and a woman were approached by a gunman as they were leaving the area. The suspect shot them many times, resulting in the death of the woman and seriously injuring the male. He was taken to a medical facility.
Neither victim has been publicly identified.
A motive for the shooting is not known, and the suspect hasn’t been found.
