A domestic disturbance inside an Arlington home left one woman injured and a man dead.
According to reports officers responded to the 600 block of Lillard Rd and when they arrived they found Darryl Rashawn Williams,53 deceased and his girlfriend suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was transported to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Apparently the two got into an altercation inside the home and williams pulled out a gun and struck his girlfriend.
A relative that lives nearby heard the commotion and came to the home and fatally shot Williams.
He remained at the scene until officers arrived.
No charges have been filed at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
