A man was shot by an unknown suspect late Tuesday night near a 7/11 store.
Ahmad Year,28 was driving a yellow Chevrolet Camaro when an unknown suspect opened fire on him before fleeing the scene on foot.
Dallas police responded to the shooting call on the 7000 block of Hemlock Ave. and when they arrived they found Yar suffering from a gunshot wound. 
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No other information has been released at this time.
