Dallas police are investigating after an 18 year old male was fatally shot at a Dallas business Sunday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 11:15 p.m. on the 4400 block of S. Marsalis Avenue. Upon arrival they found the victim, 18 year old Curdarrius Chapple, in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency crews arrived and transported Chapple to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Witnesses at the scene say an unknown black male around 18 years old walked into the establishment and opened fire multiple times striking Chapple. The suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.
The circumstances and motive surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
