A woman is dead and a man is in custody after a shooting in Mesquite Sunday.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 1700 block of Oates Dr.
Upon arrival officers located Markeita Neroes suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
She was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Mesquite police arrested Ashton Neroes and his bond is set at $1,000,000
