Dallas police are investigating a backyard party that turned deadly early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call near Prairie Creek and Lake June Rd around 4:26am.
Upon arrival they found a 30 year old male in the backyard suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
During investigation officers learned the suspect and victim got into some sort of altercation.
The suspect pulled out a gun, shot the victim and fled the scene in a black corvette before officers could arrive.
The suspect remains at large.
