Shooting Outside A San Antonio Bar Leaves 3 Dead And 2 Wounded

Three people are dead and two are critically injured following an early Sunday morning shooting at a San Antonio bar.
Officers responded to a disturbance call around 3:35am at the Boom Boom Sports Bar.
Upon arrival officers found two people dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.
Three others were transported to an area hospital where one died from their injuries and the other two remain in critical condition.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said that an altercation ensued inside the bar while the manager was trying to close up.
It then escalated to the parking lot.
At that time a man reportedly went to his vehicle, grabbed a long handgun and opened fire striking five people.
The victims identities have not been released at this time.
The suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.
This investigation remains ongoing.
