Dallas police are investigating after a woman was shot after opening fire at Dallas Love Field Airport Monday morning.
Officers responded to a call of multiple shots being fired at Love Field Airport around 11 a.m.
According to reports, 37 year old Portia Odufuwa was dropped off at the terminal and walked inside to the restroom. After leaving the restroom she walks into the ticket counter area pulls out a handgun and opens fire.
An officer inside the airport immediately sprung into action striking the woman in her lower body area.
She was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Dallas PD and FBI are investigating this incident.
