Spud Webb Inducted Into Dallas ISD Hall of Fame

Spud Webb, a Dallas native, takes his place as part of the fifth class of the Dallas ISD Athletic Hall of Fame.

Spud will forever be known as being the smallest NBA Slam Dunk Champion at 5 foot 7, he won the title in his hometown of Dallas during All-Star Weekend back in 1986.

Prior to his NBA career, predominantly with the Atlanta Hawks, Webb had an exceptional college career at North Carlina State.

Spud played basketball for  Dallas ISD’s Wilmer Hutchins High School, where he recently retired his jersey.

Spud Webb will always represent the belief that no height is unreachable.
