Suicide Chamber That Works By Blinking The Eyes Has Been Approved

16.9kviews

A machine that allows people to kill themselves, made by Dr. Philip Nitschke, “Dr. Death,” has been approved to be used in Switzerland.

The coffin-shaped capsule, called the Sarco machine, is operable from the inside. It performs by decreasing the oxygen level in the pod tremendously.

If a person experiences locked-in syndrome, they just have to blink their eyes for the machine to work.

An individual is given a liquid barbiturate drug that puts them in a deep coma in about two to five minutes. This enables a person to pass away “peacefully and painlessly.”

The Sarco machine, short for sarcophagus, is made to be taken wherever a person chooses, preferably an outdoor area. The environment-friendly capsule can then come apart and be used as a coffin.

The device has been criticized because the way it uses gas similar to how it was used in the Holocaust. It also has a virtual feature that allows people to experience  their own death. Critics add that the capsule’s innovative design seems to make suicide “glamorous.”

  4. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter
to be really something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and extremely broad for
me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
