Taco Bell’s Mexican pizza makes its big return to the menus Thursday after being removed 2 years ago.
The item was removed back in November 2020 during the pandemic as Taco Bell was downsizing their cost.
After removing the item Taco Bell received a lot of backlash and sparked an online petition. The petition had over 200,000 signatures.
The Mexican pizza consist of a tortilla shell filled pizza sauce and either beans or ground beef. It’s topped with another tortilla shell that’s smothered with more sauce, cheese and chopped tomatoes.
For the vegetarians, Taco Bell has also included a meatless version of the infamous Mexican pizza.
