Teen Faces Manslaughter Charges After Smothering Her 3-Year-Old Sister For Being Too Loud

While at an extended stay hotel, a teen smothered her 3-year-old sister by placing a pillow over her head. Their mother had told the teenager to quiet the child as she was on a call for work, last Friday.

Now, the Florida teen has been charged with manslaughter, authorities say.

After putting the pillow over the toddler’s head, the sister went back to a room and discovered the 3-year-old dead.

The child was transported to a hospital where she was declared deceased.

The Altamonte Springs police stated that the teen was apprehended.
