A shooting at an apartment complex in Dallas Saturday night has left a 16-year-old girl dead and another teen hospitalized.
Dallas Police Department received reports of shots fired at the Parks at Cliff Creek Apartments off Marvin D. Love service road at around 8:30 p.m.
DPD’s investigation would later lead them to the Mandalay Palms Apartments on Chesterfield Drive, where the shooting originally took place.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old both suffering apparent gunshot wounds.
The 16-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 17-year-old was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
