Ten Gang Members Charged After Trying To Murder Woman Who Wanted Out Of Gang

11.1kviews

In April 2020, a mother in Norfolk, Virginia, was forced to drink bleach, shot in the head, and left to die.

Now, ten supposed gang members are in different stages of prosecution in relation to the attempted murder.

The members are a part of the Rollin’ 20’s Outlaw Bloods. They have been charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, grand larceny, abduction, mob assault, conspiracy to commit a felony, and various other gang-connected charges.

Brianna Arrington is reportedly said to have tried to join the gang by being jumped in. Every time she didn’t do what members told her to do correctly, she was assaulted.

On April 23, 2020, Arrington and her 2-year-old son went to watch movies with other gang members at an apartment.

She then expressed to the gang leader, Brandon “Sayso” Winnegan, that she didn’t want to be a part of the gang anymore.

The highest-ranking female member of the gang, Toporshia “Lawless” Hodges, then felt that Arrington should die. This was because she knew too much information.

Arrington was choked until she became unconscious. When she didn’t die, several gang members attempted to break her neck. They then stabbed her and attempted to put bleach down her throat. Gang members drove Arrington away, in her Mercedes, where they shot her multiple times as she was in the front seat.

A neighbor called authorities when they found the woman.

The toddler was not hurt in the occurrence. He was discovered walking alone on a street where gang members had left him.

Toporshia Hodges, 23, Javonne Hodges, 23, Asja Smith-Moore, 21, Ginger McAfee, 20, Sadia Brown, 25, and Skylar Webb, 20, have pleaded guilty. They are waiting to be sentenced.

DeAndre Watkins, 25, will attend a plea hearing this week. Brandon Winnegan, 32, and Xavier Walker, 24, have a trial that is still pending.

Last June, one of the gang members, Tavarrius “Flash” Mitchell, 20, pleaded guilty to seven felonies. He received a 34-year sentence in state prison.

  1. Hi this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG
editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills
so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.

Any help would be enormously appreciated!
