A 17 year old capital murder suspect was arrested in Desoto, Tx Monday for murdering two teens and injuring another.
The incident happened in Texarkana, on December 13, at the Oaks at Rosehill apartment complex located on the 1900 block of West 13th Street.
According to reports, Kevonte Collins, who was 16 at the time of the shooting, fatally shot Deangelo Hardy and Rikolah Young. A third person was also injured during the shooting.
Collins, who was on the run for months, was finally arrested on May 2 after police received a tip.
He was arrested at a residence in Desoto without incident and charged with capital murder.
He is being held in Dallas County jail waiting on extradition back to Texarkana.
