Police are investigating after they found a Texas fire captain and his girlfriend dead inside their home from an apparent murder suicide Friday.
The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check at the home near Rosharon, just south of Houston and when they arrived they heard a baby crying inside but no adults.
The police then forced their way inside the home to discover Joe Robinson and his girlfriend Briana Warren dead from what appears to be a murder suicide.
They also found the couples one year old son unharmed.
Authorities have not confirmed the actual cause of death at this time.
Robinson was a 15 year veteran with the department and he was promoted to captain last year.
This investigation is ongoing.
