Three teens have been charged in connection to the brutal beating of a Texas football player.

The attack reportedly happened last Friday in Lake Jackson at a social gathering on Cherrywood Court.

Lake Jackson police were called to the home around 11:30pm, after receiving an EMS call about an unconscious 16 year old bleeding from his ears.

Upon arrival they found Cole Hagan,16 in the middle of the roadway. He was transported to an area hospital where he suffered multiple injuries, including multiple skull fractures and a broken clavicle.

According to reports, two teens lured Hagan out the house by telling him someone hit his truck.

Once they got him outside, Reid Mitchell,17 punched Hagan in the face and slammed him into the concrete.

When they were finished beating him one of the guys texted Hagan’s friend telling him to come get him out the street.

Hagan’s older brother said, “They left him in the road after they finished attacking him and then texted one of his friends that were in the backyard of this house to say, ‘Hey come get your boy out of the street.’ They left him in the street, people who were supposed to be his friends.”

Since the attack police have arrested three students in connection with the attack.

Mitchell was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Ayden Holland,17, and Logan Huber,18 were arrested Tuesday and also charged with aggravated assault.

Hagan is a junior at Brazoswood High School where he played as wide receiver.

This is still an active investigation.
