Texas Man Arrested After Fatally Shooting Co-Worker While Working On Fence Together

On Wednesday afternoon, Fort Bend County deputies apprehended Devonte Howard, 27, after he killed a co-worker while they worked on a fence together.

Close to 1:40 p.m., deputies answered to a shooting call in the 18000 block of Oakloch court in Richmond, Texas. They then discovered that Miguel Angel Granados Jr., 38, had been fatally shot.

Detectives say that Granados was killed as he and Howard worked on a fence together.

After surrendering to authorities outside of a family member’s residence, Howard was charged with murder.

He remains in a Fort Bend County Jail with a $500,000 bond.
