A Texas teen is in custody after authorities say he fatally stabbed his mother during an argument early Wednesday morning.
According to reports officers were called out to the 12000 blk of Hero Way West around 2:45am.
Upon arrival they found a 53 year old woman unresponsive from multiple stab wounds.
She was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The victims son Miles Speight,19 fled the scene before officers could arrive but authorities found the knife they believe was used to kill his mother.
Authorities later arrested the suspect in Cedar Park around 7:00am and he faces multiple charges.
This investigation remains ongoing.
