A teenager from Missouri City, Tx was pronounced dead by EMS after being ejected during a car crash.

Torianto “Junior” Brinson, 15, was a passenger that was flung from a vehicle during a horrible crash. Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and attempted life saving measures with no luck. Brinson, who was suffering from a traumatic brain injury, was transported by Life Flight to Texas Medical Center where doctors were initially unable to save him.

While Brinson’s mother prayed over her “dead” son, he suddenly moved his hand. Nurses rushed in and quickly took him for emergency surgery on his brain.

The teen was in a semi-coma for months at Memorial Hermann. After much prayer, he had finally progressed enough to start therapy.

Brinson had to learn how to do basic functions like walking and brushing his teeth. Through lots of hard work, he was even able to play basketball again.

Because of his excelling in school, he was still able to graduate this year and plans on taking summer classes.
