Cody Allen Amos, 23, is reportedly said to have answered a call on his phone while he robbed a convenience store in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
On Tuesday, he pleaded guilty to multiple charges.
Authorities say that Amos robbed a Friendly Mart on Wyoming Avenue on November 11th. As he had a knife to the cashier’s head, he answered a phone call.
Police said that before the robbery, Amos had come in the same store and glared right at the surveillance camera. Thus, he was identified because he wore the same attire during the robbery.
On November 18, Amos was supposed to meet with police. When he didn’t show up, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Amos was finally found on January 13 by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
He is set to be sentenced on June 6 after pleading guilty to recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct.
