On October 27th, Daniel Mathis from Dallas, was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds in front of a residence on Cantura Drive in Mesquite.
Mathis was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Now, police have apprehended three out of the four suspects that they were attempting to locate. Donterious Lockhart, Timothy Johnson, and Nicholas Mayberry have been caught and taken into custody for capital murder offenses.
Authorities are still searching for a fourth suspect, Rashaud Holmes. A $5,000 reward from CrimeStoppers is being offered for information that leads to his whereabouts.
