Three Men Arrested In Connection With Fatal Grand Prairie Shooting

Three men are in custody after a shooting in Grand Prairie left a man dead Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 7:30 a.m. on the 100 block of Goerte Drive.

Upon arrival officers found the victim, 25 year old Luis Gongora unresponsive from a gunshot wound.

When emergency crews arrived they pronounced Gongora deceased at the scene.

According to reports, Gongora got into an altercation with two associates identified as 26 year old Jose Zavala and 28 year old Christian Zavala.

The altercation escalated to shots being fired and Christian and Jose fleeing the scene in a vehicle with a third person driving.

The driver was later identified as 33 year old Juan Rivera- Hernandez.

Authorities later arrested Christian Zavala and Rivera- Hernandez for murder.

Jose Zavala remains in police custody in a local hospital.
