Three people have been arrested and a fourth remains at large after a man was found fatally shot outside a Dallas apartment complex earlier this year.
Leavonte Dewon Kennedy, 26, Darrion Deandre Murray, 24, and Devonte Eugen Y-Sheen Lamond Rogers, 26, were arrested and are facing a charge of capital murder in the slaying of Brannon King,31.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 7700 block of Antoinette Dr February 21 and when they arrived they found King lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Baylor hospital where he died three days later.
According to reports the suspects were seen on video getting out of a white Chrysler, one do them carrying a rifle, and walking to King’s apartment disappearing for a few minutes and then seen again on the video running back and getting inside the Chrysler and driving off.
Kennedy was arrested on Feb 26, Murray turned himself in on March 1 and Rogers was arrested March 19.
As of Wednesday April 22 all three suspects still remain in Dallas custody.
Kennedy and Murray have a bond set at $1 million and Rogers bond is $500,000.
A fourth suspect that goes by “Chicago” remain at large.
This investigation is ongoing.
