There is a Turkey shortage this year and it would be wise to order ahead.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the inventory of frozen turkeys and turkey parts was 24% lower than the three year average.
Experts say turkeys are available, but getting them to stores is the real problem.
You will also notice the price increase in a Thanksgiving dinner this year because of the supply in demand chain.
Experts believe this rise in food will extend through 2022.
