Two Georgia daycare employees are facing child abuse charges after they were caught on camera abusing a 3 year old child.
The incident occurred last month on July 6, when the grandmother says she went to pick her grandson up from Clarkston First Baptist Academy Daycare and headed appeared upset.
When the toddlers mother, Krystin Collier, saw her son she said she noticed visible cuts and scrapes on him. Collier then went and spoke with the church and they told her they only saw ‘tension’ between the toddler and teachers.
After Collier reviewed the video she noticed Bernetta Glover and Autumn Coney assault her son by slamming him to the floor, pulling him up by his hair and slapping and punching him repeatedly.
Collier immediately removed her son from the daycare and went to police to file a report.
Clarkston Police Department issued arrest warrants for both Glover and Coney on charges of cruelty to a child.
Coney turned herself in the same day and has since bonded out. Glover turned herself in the next day.
