Two Fort Worth ISD employees have died from COVID-19 this week.
The Fort Worth ISD school board held a meeting Tuesday and during the meeting they discussed the latest COVID-19 case numbers and answered questions from board members.
One of the questions was if there had been any deaths between the staff or students and assistant superintendent Michael Steinert replies “yes two staff members.”
No further details were given regarding the staff members that passed from COVID-19.
As of September 10, the district has reported under 1,000 active COVID-19 cases, 734 among students and 192 among employees.
