Garland PD are investigating the deaths of two men found inside a Garland apartment Friday morning.
Officers responded to a welfare check call on the 200 block of South Barnes Dr.
Upon arrival officers located Arnulfo Escalante Lopez,41 and Jose Anguiano Torres,28 near a gas powered generator unresponsive inside the apartment.
The generator was still in the on position but appeared to be out of gas.
Garland Fire responded and pronounced both victims deceased at the scene and believe they died from exposure to carbon monoxide.
Investigators are currently working with Dallas county medical examiners office to determine the actual cause of death.
This investigation is ongoing.
