Monday two people were charged for the 2002 murder of legendary Dj Jam Master Jay.
Karl Jordan Jr,36 and Ronald Washington,56 were both indicted on murder and drug related charges in the fatal shooting of the DJ, whose real name was Jason Mizell.
Jam Master Jay, who was only 37 at the time of his death, was murdered in his Queens studio in October and another victim Urieco Rincon,25 was also shot but only suffered an ankle injury.
According to reports Washington had went into the studio and ordered everyone down on the ground and Jordan fired two rounds that struck Mizell in the head and Rincon in his ankle.
Apparently Washington and Jordan were Mizell’s business partners and upset about being excluded from the transaction of the 10 kilos.
The two argued before he was shot in cold blood.
Washington is currently serving a federal sentence for robbery, while Jordan was taken into custody on Sunday.
Both men were charged with murder while engaging in drug trafficking.
If convicted both face up to 20 years in prison.
