Miami, Fla., – Police officials has reported a woman found dead at a hotel in Florida on Thursday. It is believed that the woman was allegedly drugged and raped by two men who also allegedly stole her credit cards to spend money during their trip.
According to reports, the 24-year-old woman was found half nude and dead Thursday in a hotel room in Miami Beach, which has been an attraction spot for spring breakers.
The two men, Evoire Collier, 21, and Dorian Taylor, 24, from Greensboro, North Carolina, were reportedly seen on video footage entering the hotel room where the woman was staying. The men stayed less than an hour, according to investigators.
“The defendant was holding her from behind, holding her by the neck so she could stand,” Miami Beach Detective Luis Alsina told a judge at the court hearing.
Investigators say they found Collier on Ocean Drive having the same pants on he had in the surveillance video.
According to court documents, Collier allegedly told police that he met the woman at a restaurant in the area and “accompanied Taylor as they planned to have a sexual encounter with the victim.”
Collier says that Taylor gave the woman a “green pill” believed to be a Percocet, which after then they both had sex with the woman after she appeared to be unconscious, investigators said.
“The fact that the victim was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, she could not have consented to sex with the defendants,” stated in arrest documents.
Shortly after, the men allegedly spent her money at several locations across the city of Miami, including South Beach Liquors, where the suspects where captured on video.
After police officials arrested Taylor, they found the victim’s phone and green pills in his possession, according to arrest documents.
Both Collier and Taylor are now facing charges of burglary with battery, sexual battery, petty theft, and credit card fraud. Both could also be facing a murder or manslaughter charge if the victim’s autopsy report comes back as her death being caused by the green pill they gave her.
