Two Teens Accused Of Kidnapping, Robbing And Killing A Woman And An Accomplice During Robbery

A Harris County judge set kinda for two teens accused of kidnapping, robbing and killing a woman earlier this month.

According to reports, the teens are members of the notoriously violent MS-13 gang.

Jordan Montavo, 18, and Carlos Romero, 17, reportedly went to Sandra Montes-De Escamilla’s apartment located on Rio Bonito Road after knocking on several apartment doors.

When Sandra opened the door the suspects grabbed her and made her drive to an atm to withdraw money. When they got to the atm and discovered she couldn’t withdraw any money they forced her to the trunk and shot her to death.

Following the shooting a third suspect, that was 19 year old, began arguing with Montavo and Romero and was also shot multiple times and left in the grass.

When authorities arrived they found a 19 year old male laying in the grass suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. He had been placed on arrest and faces multiple charges once released.

The suspect also informed of forts about the deceased woman placed in the trunk of the vehicle.

Montavo and Romero were arrested Tuesday and charged with capital murder. Their bond is set at $1,000,000.
