Alec Ray Adamson, 17, and Mason Enslow Schiller,17, were charged in the shooting death of 19-year-old David Noel Pleasant of Little Elm.
According to the affidavit, witnesses informed police that 19-year-old David Pleasant went to a playground on Paladin Place in Little Elm to buy marijuana and mushrooms when he was shot in the and killed. The shooting was captured on surveillance video.
According to investigators, it shows Pleasant walking from the playground, approaching a gray Volkswagen.
He is then seen running from the vehicle. The driver then gets out of the vehicle and proceeds to shoot Pleasant in the back of the head, as reported in court documents.
Police used the Instagram account that was used to arrange the drug deal, as well as the audio from the surveillance video.
Investigators say it shows Pleasant walking from the playground to a gray Volkswagen.
He is then seen running from the vehicle.
According to court documents, the driver of the car gets out of the vehicle and shoots Pleasant.
Police identified Schiller through an Instagram account that was used to facilitate the drug deal and audio from the surveillance video.
Law enforcement located the Volkswagen outside of a home in Prosper, they spotted someone matching Schiller’s description getting into a black truck.
Officers attempted to stop the truck but it led them on a chase before crashing at an intersection two people fled the scene on foot, but were arrested.
Adamson was one of the two individuals inside the truck.
Schiller and Adamson were interviewed by police and both told investigators they were in the car trying to sell drugs to Pleasant when he started hitting them.
Adamson then pulled a gun out of his jacket and opened fire, according to court documents.
Under the Texas Law of Parties, both Adamson and Schiller were charged with murder.
Terrible business model: kill your customers. Morons.
As they should be charged with murder no questions, now not waste the time with a trail and more using our tax payers money when they admitted to it and it’s on video!!
