A man has died in the hospital after being shot multiple times on Buckner Friday evening.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 3200 block of N. Buckner and upon arrival they noticed the victim Willie Earl Wright,28 slumped over in the drivers seat of a white Grand Marquis with multiple bullet holes.
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed his injuries Sunday night.
The charges have been upgraded to Murder.
This investigation is ongoing.
