7.3kviews

A missing UPS driver was found tied up inside his tractor-trailer in an abandoned Atlanta lot Tuesday morning.

Around 3:30am the driver was leaving a UPS facility on Fulton Industrial Boulevard when he was kidnapped at gunpoint. The suspects had the driver take them to an abandoned parking lot Bankhead Court.

Once there the suspects tied the driver up in the back of the trailer and stole cargo. According to reports the suspects transported the cargo into another vehicle that was there waiting in the parking lot.

Authorities began looking for the driver when the truck was discovered on Maynard Court just off Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, an area formerly known as Bankhead Court.

The driver was eventually found uninjured in the trailer. The suspects remain at large.

This is an ongoing investigation.
