Vanessa Bryant has been awarded another $13 million from L.A. County after being awarding $15 million last year.
Altogether, Kobe Bryant’s widow has settled with the county in an amount that totals $28.8 million. Her lawyer has stated that this is the resolution to both of Vanessa’s complaints and any other claims in the future from her surviving children.
It isn’t known when, but it appears that Vanessa amended her first lawsuit to add her daughters, Natalia, Bianca, and Capri.
Previously, Vanessa had gone to trial and took the stand. She discussed her feelings about pictures taken of Kobe and Gigi’s remains being leaked out in the open and how it devastated her.
Vanessa was awarded $16 million, but a million was left off due to a clerical mistake. Previously, she and her team talked about donating the money to her Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Kobe and Gianna were two of the nine people who lost their lives in the helicopter accident that day.
