Video Games May Only Be Played During A Certain Time Period In China

Officials in China have allocated video game playing for certain times. This guideline is stricter than the limit that they already had in place.

Kids in China aren’t permitted to engage in playing video games during the week. Additionally, they may only play for one hour a day on the weekends and on holiday nights.

The rule first came into play in 2019 because government officials believed that children in school were becoming too hooked on the games. Back then, people under 18 could only play for 90 minutes during the week and three hours a day on the weekend.

However, parents complained that was still too much time, and it wasn’t really being reiterated.

Now, children are only allowed to play the games from 8pm to 9pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The governorment says that it will ensure that the rule is being followed.
