A mother shared on TikTok her daughter’s troubling experience at Dallas Regional Medical Hospital in Mesquite, Texas, during labor. Despite calling ahead, they were instructed to use the front entrance and faced delays in receiving assistance. The mother had to request a wheelchair and was told they wouldn’t help bring her daughter inside. Once in the hospital, they were informed that nothing could be done until paperwork was completed, forcing the daughter to wait over thirty minutes in active labor. The mother questioned the charge nurse about whether this treatment was standard for all patients or just for Black patients.
