Jurors have spent a month listening to prosecuting attorneys during the R. Kelly trial.
As of Monday R. Kelly’s attorneys presented witnesses defending the singer claiming they never saw Kelly abuse any women.
According to court documents the witness appeared to be more of a fan than a credible witness.
After speaking positively on R. Kelly the witness asked if he could play his demo tape for the singer.
The judge immediately shot down the witnesses request and excused him from the bench.
At this time it is unlikely that the singer will take the stand during his trial.
Defense attorneys expect to wrap up their case by Wednesday and prosecutors give their closing statements.
