A 31 year old woman is in custody after she attacked a Shreveport officer Thursday.
On March 16, Shreveport PD received a call regarding a suspicious person near Kings Highway and Gilbert Street.
Upon arrival they encountered 31 year old Andi Lynn Foshee, who immediately became combative with officers, according to SPD.
With the help of multiple officers they were able to subdue Foshee and take her into custody. The injured officer is expected to make a full recovery.
Foshee was charged with two counts of felony battery of a police officer, one count of resisting arrest with force or violence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper telephone communication.
