Woman Fatally Shot On Dallas Freeway During Possible Road Rage

An investigation is underway after a woman was fatally shot during a possible road rage incident early Tuesday morning.

On March 21, Dallas police responded to a shooting/ crash call shortly after 12 a.m. on the 5600 block of Winslow Ave and RL Thornton Freeway.

Upon arrival they found the victim, 30 year old Nancy Aguilar unresponsive inside a vehicle and an uninjured male in the passenger seat.

According to reports, Aguilar was traveling eastbound when she got into a verbal argument with two unknown men in another vehicle.

During that time it was stated that one of the unknown males in the other vehicle then opened fire striking Aguilar’s car.

One of the bullets struck Aguilar causing her to crash into a wall behind a gas station.

When emergency crews arrived they pronounced Aguilar dead at the scene. The passenger inside her vehicle was not injured.

The suspects fled the scene before officers could arrive.

This investigation remains ongoing.
