A woman is dead after a car she was riding in was struck by a pickup truck Tuesday night in Dallas.
Officers responded to a crash around 9:30pm at W. Illinois and Keats Dr.
Upon arrival officers learned that a pickup truck had collided into a car.
The car was traveling eastbound on Illinois and turning north onto Keats Dr when the pickup collided into the car causing serious bodily injury.
Authorities say the driver of the car failed to yield and was therefore struck.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
No criminal charges have been filed police believe this was a tragic accident.
