A woman from England was as sentenced to 8 1/2 years in prison after she lied about an Asian gang raping and beating her.
According to reports, 22 year old Eleanor Williams from Barrow-in-Furness was convicted of 9 counts of perverting the course of justice in January.
Apparently back in May of 2020 Williams posted to social media several pictures of herself beaten and bruised. She also claimed she had been beaten and raped by an Asian gang.
The incident sparked several protest in the town of Cumbria and soon spread world wide.
The pictures were very explicit and showed her with a black eye, a partially severed finger and several other bruises.
After a thorough investigation Williams was convicted of perverting the course of Justice.
Williams apparently became intoxicated and was taken home by Jordan Trengove. The next days she claimed he raped and beat her. She also claimed the incident happened multiple times and even claimed he threatened her with a knife.
Trengove spent 73 days in jail and tried to commit suicide along with two other males.
Another victim, 43 year old Mohammed Ramzan, had the wildest allegations after Williams claimed that he was the leader of a well groomed gang that had starting sex slaving her at 12.
On Tuesday all three men were in court during Williams sentencing. Although she apologized and claimed she didn’t mean to cause all this trouble she was sentenced to 8 1/2 years in prison.
