Women Carjacked By Group Of People Wearing Masks

Two women were carjacked by a group of people late Thursday night wearing masks.
According to reports officers responded to a carjacking on the 12100 block of Sunland St and when they arrived they found two women that had been carjacked by 5 people.
The women told officers that the suspects approached them with guns and knives demanding their car keys while putting a gun to their head and stomach and shooting into the air.
The suspects then grabbed the keys and took the vehicle to the 2400 block of Robert B. Cullum Blvd where Officers were able to track down the vehicle with On Star and waited in the parking lot for the suspects to enter the vehicle. Three suspects were seen entering the vehicle and while trying to approach them the driver crashed into the police suv.
Officers were able to arrest one male and one female suspect and they’re still searching for three other suspects.
All suspects are facing aggravated robbery charges and the driver that crashed into the police suv will face aggravated assault on a public servant.
