An investigation is underway following an incident where two minors were struck by a vehicle.
The accident took place around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday near the intersection of Accent Drive and West Plano Parkway, close to the site of the former Collin Creek Mall.
Authorities have confirmed that two children walking in the area were hit by a car and have been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver remained at the scene and has not yet been identified.
Details regarding the children’s ages or the severity of their injuries have not been released.
